Our story to date.

The adventures begin in the Nentire Vale, in the city of Fairhaven where the individuals met one another. The party proceeded to the tombes in search of the Oracle who gave them insights into each of they potentional paths, warning them of the dangers that would be present and that in alluding to certain conditions were certain skills would fail to work.

The party was then suddenly dazed and they all fell into a state on unconciousness. The Shared mind, Naram, was particullary disturbed by the experience having not the need to sleep and therefore never experiencing unconciousness before.

When the party awoke they found themselves in Baldovia without Shale, it had appeared that the Oracle had teleported the party to the transition city between the Nentire Vale and the Dragons Kingdom.

The area was immedietly recognized by two party members; Ares and his lord Blutai whos family once ruled the lands and village they were in. They were immedietly graced with blessings and good fortunes by the villages who recognized their true and rightful Lord upon his appereance. Little did any of them know that by openly giving their alligence to Blutai that they would seal their own destruction.

The party left Beldovia and proceeded towards Castle Ridgeton, the castle of Blutais grandfather King Salcore the ruler of the Salconar Kingdom. Sent away from the Castle by his father when just a young lad over 4 score ago with his fathers most trustworhty Master-At-Arms, Ares, the two both returned to find a land that they did not recognize, a land destoryed and savaged, it’s people enslaved and their will broken.

The Castle sat in Ruins, possed by a Skull Lord and his minions the party worked their way through to re-claim the castle for the right file owner and lord. Many interesting discoveries were made while in the process.
Blutai discovered that the Skull Lord was his re-incarnated father by way of the royal emblem on the crown upon the its heads.
Naram obtained a gnome that purches itself regularly upon his shoulder and shouting insults at most everyone it meets.
Content Not Found: nala realized that it was her family that had assinated Blutais father after the death of the King Salcore
The entire party felt the pressence of one of the Oracles misgivings of fortune, feeling drained when they came into contact with a great mist the drained the power from their magical weapons but appeared to expanded any blast ranges and a strange force of nature that caused metal and steel to be drawn down quickly to the ground.

The party eventually managed to regain the castle and returned to Baldovia to discouver that it had been sacked. Tracks from a many creature could be found leading south from Baldovia and upon closer inspection it was noted that some appeared to be from smaller dragons.

The party followed the tracks, detouring first to Faeth where they were instructed to find and save the party that had been sent to the Abandoned Mines to repair the bridge. Warned that they had seen a horde travel south past Faeth towards the Abandoned Mines from the direction of Balvodia. The party quickly made their way to the mines, rescued all of the workers and returned them to city after which they returned to investigate the mines at great peril.

The mines were swarming with a variety of draconic creatures, and the party soon realized that this was not an abandoned mine but a dragon breading pit but the discovery was made to late. Gwydion had picked up one of the unhatched eggs and instantly became possed by the mines dragon inhabitant which forced him to draw the party deeper and deeper into the mine. Eventually the party came upon the Necromancer dragon landed upon their location, playing with the party letting them have a few pittiful attempts to injure it the dragon finally turned killed each of them.

Many days later the party finds themselves in a dream like state, completely and uterly alone. Each faces it fears within their dream state to eventually to find each other and escape the nightmare they were in. The party awakens to find themselves in a room in the city of Faeth, to whom an individual named Ben introdcues himself as the one who retrieved them from the mines and brought them back to his home.
However, the party discovers that they have all been marked, a mark cursed and feared by most people in a civilized society and that their weapons have also been enshrouded with a odd curse that can never be dismissed.

Arrival at Raeth
Raeth

You awake in the morn, tired, cold and sore. The walls are dark and the wood stained wet, the small lamp in the corners wick has long been worn and used and no light penetrates through the thick lumber walls. You can feel the swaying of the ship in the darkness and suddenly feel the urge to be sick again. The seas of the last two months had been tretcherous. Two major storms had hit them while the ships were out on sea as if the dragons themselves were bashing their wings and kicking up the waters against them. 30 men had passed in the first 2 weeks at sea, 5 of which were knights in full mail that had gone overboard in first few hours. The other knights quickly don their mail for sailer clocks but this didnot prevent them from the seasickness that took many of the crew. The heavy winds and hi waters were cause for the large galley to sway from side-to-side and up and down constantly for days. The bellies of the mens empty and still they were forced to wretch through day and night. Some decided that death was inevidable and jumped into the waters, others finally stopped wretching when they fell asleep not to wake up again.

You look around as your eyes begin to adjust and can see your companions, awakening in the cots next to you. Luckly you never lost any of your own party members but it was close for some and you all realize that it will take a few days on solid land before you are back to full power.

Sitting up for a moment you realize that the swaying of the ship is not as bad as what it has been and that there is a lot more noise above decks then in previous weeks. You and your party make their way up to the bridge deck to see what all the commotion appeared to be about. Opening the door the suddent bright lights of the sun cause you to become suddenly blinded but you quickly adapt and the you then you see it, the shores of Raeth, the great city of the East and sister to Faeth. You look over the ledge and see the oars-men guiding the ship into the docks, working efficiently to bring the massive galley in quickly and smoothly. The city is bustiling with activity, the dockyards teamming with ships loading and unloading of goods, you see a banner fly of the spicers from the south and Slavers of the Northern contents. The colosum on the west side of the city could be seen from anywhere in the city as well as the castles keep in the center of the city. The west side was covered in a giant rockside that was rumoured to be a honeycombo of caves and caverns.

Lords Conquests
Raeth

The party doesn’t pay much heed to the ongoings when the Dragon lord flys over their head and take landing upon the Keep of Raeth.
Unaware that the land of Raeth apparently pays tribbute to the dragon lord the party docks at the pier and is immedietly approached by the royal guards of Raeth under orders to bring all land-bound passengers before the Lord Carvos immedietly. The citizens of the community to not find anything odd about this event and continue about their business as if it were a regular everyday occurance.
The party is taken through the pier and then through the market where invidual members notice points of interest within the market themselves.

The assian notices the guild marker on one of the doors within the market.
The shardmind notices that some of his brethern are being sold as gemstones and broaches.
The wizards notices 3 individual magic shops of particular note.

Once brought before the Lord Carvos the party is interigated by the Lord and informed that all persons landing on his land must go through his courts for approval before embarking onto the citizens. The group barily escapes the dungones and with quick tonges find themselves enlisting themselves to complete the Lords demands. Capture the usurpers that can be found at the mystic mountains, find and destroy what his killing his troups in the westerdly rock and firstly participate in his tournment, which the gladiator championship purse being valued at 30 thousand gold coins. Kolvak, Lord Carvos’ steward, is featched to obtain the death tomb for the party; which will dictate those that the Lord wishes dead or captured, scallped for proof if killed.

After exicting the Hall the party begins to study the names on the tomb.

  1. Ko’sault ok garoth – Assisin
  2. Blaine – Lord of Faeth
  3. Lord Padre – Lord of Winterhaven
  4. Blutai – Lord of Castle Ridgeton
  5. Danika – Squire of Raeth
  6. Sparticus – Varmaren Lordship
  7. Sarah – Magi of the ?

As the name of Sarah is read of the she leaps at takes the tomb from Blutai and annonces that there appear to be no more names on the list and stoes it away.

The party than embark for the tournament and join the lists, each working towards the practiced arts. As they enlist they quickly realize that using their real names may not be appropriate, especially since they appeared on the death tomb from Lord Carvos.

Blaine (James) – Dreket
Danika (Lisa) – Lena
Sarah (Lyndsay) – Aferdite

With the tournament stated Blutai (called Dreket) competed against the previous winner, the Fire Temple Champion and defeted him in a near-flawless victory.
Sparticus (Romulis) was to challenge Narm in a quick and easily won match where Sparticus first attempted to flee, but Royal guards threatened the dungeons for him if he were to registere and than NOT compete.
The Dragon Keeper challenged Ares and was defeted in a close but impressive battle by both combatants.

The first stage completed Narm then competed in a deadly close battle against Ares who was called the Executioner. After a long combat in which drained both combatants of their powers and health Ares came out as the winner.

The battle against Ares and Blutai was not quiet as formiddable as was hopped and Blutai quickly took the combat tournment in his hand.

Dannika combatted Takaran Assian in the ranged combat only competition. Another close battle that saw two assisians putting the metal to their steal, going in and out of the visible range during the compeition. Dannika barely made it out alive, but still she managed to win and take the ranged combat championship.

Sarah combated a similar grey handed mage and easily defeted the mage who was out of it’s element, unable to use it’s weapon based magic powers.

Now all that is left is the Gladiator ring.

Gladiator Battle
Raeth

After his dreadful defeat to Blutai, Ares was sent to the infirmary to recover from his wounds while the rest of the party was escorted to the Gladiator ring to battle for the King.

On their way a half dwarf greeted them and distracted Sarah just enough that Naram took advantage of the opportunity and hit her head knocking her unconscious causing her to be disqualified from the gladiator rings combat.

Open entering the ring the three adventurers approached the Kings landing and saluted appropriately. Naram gave a old-fashioned two fingered solute to the King who look at him peculiarly. Danika approached and gave a general curtsey which bored the King and finally Blutai gave the salute of “We who are about to die solute you” which was the traditional solute of the lands to the west, unrecognized by the king but recognized by his hand servant Marcellio who looked queerly at the group but kept his silence.

The battle began with 6 hybrid dragon born drakes attacking the group, strong in defence by week in power they feel quickly and easily to the trio. However, on their deaths they made sure to strike a blow at the characters with an acidic belch.

The second round found the trio surrounded by Black Skelton Mages, frozen to the core their bones connected by cords of ice. The Skelton Mages gave the trio a hefty fight and nearly killed Danika on multiple occasions but the trio prevailed and defeated the Mages.

The third round had the trio fighting a combination of Assassins and Past Temple Champions. Becoming completely sounded the party found the assassins becoming invisible and moving between them, striking at the weakest movements. The Champions smashing the large long swords, trailing fire, into the breast plates and shields of the trio as they attempted to attack and defend their allies. Suddenly a large acid ball came shooting across the sky and the party barely had time to escape from it’s path. Danika being the last to move out of the way.

Their enemies vanquished the King declared the tournament incomplete. A battle to their deaths was to be their fate and there were still the three of them standing in the ring, therefore three combatants still remained.

Blutai was the first to realize what the king was implying and quickly struck a deal with the near dead Danika and strong a powerful blow against Naram while healing his now partner. Naram, quiet annoyed with the quick treachery of his associates smacked down Danika quickly and decisively. Danika, weakened and near death from the attack barely managed to keep herself from succumbing to her injuries before Blutai proved her with an Ardent Surge, forcing her back to her feet.
Angered by the attack by Naram that had knocked her down and fighting death, Danika hopped up and hit Naram with a Twilight Assassin, which smashed his crystalline skins and knocked him to his knees. Blutai didn’t waste any time putting Danika back into her place and winning the tournament for himself and his party.

As the successors of the tournament the King proclaimed that he was quiet pleased with the outcome and that a great many nights had past since last he saw such a wonderful spectacle of combat and skill. Pleased he graced each of the gladiator combatants with a magical weapon, bound to their souls.

Naram received the “Thought spike Khopesh”
Blutai received the “Great spear of Myrdroon”
Danika received the “Quicksword”
Sarah received the
Ares received the

As the winners of the ring the party was also offered the option of taking the “Crown Jewel of Chessenta” or a stock-pile of gold, the party seemed to fight over the options at first when Blutai smacked them both and put down the law, his law, that he was getting the Crown whether they liked it or not.

Danika further learned how to better to take advantage of her shrouds increasing the damage to d8’s instead of d6’s.

Naram himself learned by studying the archers competition how to send shards from his own body as a basic ranged attack. Allowing him to hit creatures at a range of 5 Attack vs. Fort +Wis + half level with damage of 1d6 + Wis

Upon completion of the battle the party found themselves more powerful than they have ever been before and quickly realized they now had entered the Paragon Path
